Everphone needed an interim Head of Marketing & Communications to steer a crucial growth phase, including a Series D funding round of 271 million euros. The existing Head of Marketing approached me directly to lead a seven-person team and manage their PR agency.

High-stakes fundraising required a unified, on-brand message across every channel.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, I oversaw new social media launches, a full website redesign, and the creation of explainer videos—ensuring everything aligned with investor expectations.

My priority was helping the team grasp Everphone’s bigger purpose: not just renting smartphones, but simplifying corporate IT and reducing costs. We emphasized “ease,” security, and trust through collaborative workshops that clarified our core message.

Inclusive sessions allowed every team member to shape and own the brand vision.

We also meticulously managed communications around the 271-million-euro funding, keeping internal alignment in sync with the public rollout.

The Impact

Our funding announcement received notable attention, including coverage in Handelsblatt, Bloomberg, and recognition from the Deutsche Börse.

Lead generation improved significantly for the sales team. And while Everphone’s subsequent profitability came from various factors, this groundwork played a key role in supporting its ongoing growth.
