In 2022, I joined the cocreation.loft as a member, drawn by its vision of being more than a typical coworking space. Recognizing a need for consistent branding and clearer communication, I offered my expertise to elevate the loft’s public profile. The primary goals were to attract new members, showcase the loft’s focus on building a more conscious society, and differentiate it from traditional coworking setups.

We aimed to present cocreation.loft not just as a workspace, but as a collaborative community with a mission to spark new ideas and foster meaningful connections.

By creating a more unified brand narrative, we sought to reflect the loft’s unique culture and encourage greater awareness and engagement—both internally and externally.

The Journey

The loft already had a website and basic brand guidelines, but they weren’t fully aligned or consistently applied. I took the lead in refining the website, ensuring the text and visuals reflected the loft’s central values of collaboration, intellectual exploration, and social impact. Working with the internal communications team, we updated site content, streamlined messaging, and introduced new features like a hero video to convey the community’s energy.

Through a mix of hands-on content creation and collective feedback sessions, we translated the loft’s ideals into a cohesive digital presence.

We also enhanced social media outreach, creating more compelling posts and highlighting member stories. A key challenge was the self-organized nature of the loft—progress sometimes required extra coordination and gentle nudges to keep everyone on track. Nonetheless, the open structure allowed for broad input and creativity, reinforcing the loft’s ethos of co-creation.

The Impact

The upgraded website now offers clearer information on membership, services, and the loft’s collaborative activities, including a more coherent brand voice. Community satisfaction has grown as members see their collective identity well-represented online. We even hosted a successful two-day Co-Creation Festival, further showcasing the loft’s collaborative spirit.

Greater visibility and a stronger internal sense of purpose have helped position the cocreation.loft as a hub for innovative thinkers and doers in Berlin.

Personally, this project underscored the power of community-led initiatives: by tapping into diverse perspectives, we shaped a more authentic and energizing brand identity. That same spirit of shared creativity is what makes the cocreation.loft both unique and deeply fulfilling to be part of.
